Deepest Condolences for the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court Fire: May They Rest in Peace | Free Tribute Flowers & Condolence Locations
A shadow was cast over Hong Kong last night. The tragic fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po has claimed precious lives and broken the hearts of citizens across the city. As a floral business deeply rooted in Hong Kong, everyone at U Flower Shop is shocked and deeply saddened by this devastation.
In the face of such sudden loss, words often fail us. The HKSAR Government has announced that flags will be flown at half-mast from November 29 to December 1. Condolence points will also be set up across 18 districts. In this time of sorrow, flowers become our silent language to convey grief, respect, and comfort.
?️ Our Humble Contribution: Free Tribute Flowers
We understand that many citizens wish to pay their respects at the designated condolence points. To facilitate this expression of sympathy, U Flower Shop will be providing free white flowers during the citywide mourning period. This is not about business; it is about heart. We hope a simple white flower can represent our respect for the deceased and our deepest condolences to the bereaved families.

Why White Flowers?
In the language of flowers, white symbolizes purity, respect, and mourning. We have prepared the following:
- White Roses: Symbolize pure love and respect, representing remembrance of the departed.
- White Chrysanthemums: A traditional flower of mourning, signifying high integrity and lamentation.
- White Eustoma: Represents sincere and unchanging love, expressing reluctance to part with life.
Whichever you choose, the most important element is a sincere heart.
